David Davamony, PsyD

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Davamony has a BA in Religious Philosophy and Public Health. Those foundational studies fuel his interest in sound research practices and the human condition.

Dr. Davamony’s graduate studies led him towards an MPH in Biostatistics and an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy. The culmination of his academic endeavors was realized when he completed his Doctor of Clinical Psychology from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA.

During his years as a minister, Dr. Davamony often provided care to people seeking support while navigating the stressors of their lives. These important interactions later steered him towards pursuing psychology, a union of evidence-based practices and his already established work in walking alongside people during difficult times.

Alicia Layedra, MSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Alicia Layedra has a Master of Social Work from New York University (NYU). As a child, she recalls that there seemed to always be at least one trusted adult she could go to for guidance and support.  Those fundamental relationships inspired her chosen career path.

Like most clinicians in the field of mental health, Alicia Layedra sees herself as a life-long learner. Each child and family member she engages with has their own unique way of being. At the heart of her work, she partners with children and family members, when applicable, in order to draw out the most highly functioning and beautiful essence of who they are.

Anova Family Services, where play is a mental-health tool, a learning strategy, a cornerstone for a life well lived.
