Your donations will be used to help and support a community's mental health needs on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka; which has experienced a string of trauma incidents such as a civil war that began in 1983 and ended in 2009, the tsunami of 2004 that killed more than 30,000 people and displaced over 100,000 and the Easter Sunday bombings that took the lives of people in hotels and churches in the recent past.
The country is recovering from its trauma. ANOVA Family Services wants to make a difference in helping the recovery process in these communities by providing mental health workshops in schools, churches, and community organizations.
